York Building Services provides daily housekeeping and porter services at our large complex for five (5) buildins, associated grounds and parking lots. The on-site staff are professional and respectful of all residents, our employees and the property.

Robert and his staff always go above and beyond their daily assignments and when called upon in emergencies always are available. The complex could not have been restored to its original clean conditions in a timely manner without York Building Services providing the manpower need for this overwhelming task.

"It is my pleasure to serve as a reference for York Building Services. We have used their services for the last eight years and have been very satisfied with the way that our school is cleaned. I also appreciate that Al and Robert frequently stop by the school to check on the quality of their employees work and to ask me if we have custodial issues that are not being met.

As a principal of a Catholic elementary school, I must be aware of needs of our students in relation to the products that are used in our school. I am happy that York Building Services uses “Green technology” in their choice of cleaning solutions and tools. Since the “Green” cleaning method has been implemented in our school, we have not had any issues with students having to go to the nurse for asthma treatments.

Our day time porter looks very professional in his uniform and is always willing to help teachers or parents with carrying things or setting up activities in addition to his regular custodial duties. “I’ll do it now” is his catchphrase and he is true to his word. He does whatever needs to be done and he does it cheerfully when he is asked to do it!

Recently, we added another building to our cleaning contract, which has been included in our daytime custodian’s schedule. However there are times when we need the building cleaned at night for a pending activity. "I wanted to be sure to make you aware that I am so grateful for Melissa’s help today. Every day, she is an exemplary employee, and we are privileged she is assigned to us. Today was particularly exceptional.

My maintenance employee called out, and we were in dire room preparation need for visitation of a very important client tomorrow. The floor of the room was quite filthy and worn from activity over the past weeks. Upon approach for help, Melissa was amenable to alter her normal routine in order to sweep, mop and mop-polish the floor. She also worked with my crew to tackle the project in stages, as they were busy with a multitude of other projects, including where Melissa worked.
